Top 10 Best Agentic AppSec Platforms in 2026 [Ranked & Scored]

AI coding agents now write, install and run code on developer machines. The security question for a CISO is no longer only what lands in the repository, but what the agent can reach while it works: its functionality, its permissions and its autonomy. Too much of any of them is what OWASP's Top 10 for LLM Applications calls excessive agency.

The platforms below take two approaches: govern the agents themselves, and put AppSec agents to work on triage and fixes. The aim is to show agents the right path, not just block the wrong one. We ranked ten platforms on nine published criteria.

  • Keeps secrets out of agent sessions through a keychain-backed secrets MCP, and fixes SAST and dependency findings with agents that open pull requests.
  • Highest or tied highest on Discovery

Cons

  • The only published price is an AWS Marketplace bundle; there is no pricing page or free tier.
  • An audit log specific to VibeGuard is not stated on the pages reviewed; Backslash Security scores higher on policy and audit.
  • Pricing and trial transparency: 4 / 10, below GitHub Advanced Security at 9

Bottom line

The pick for a CISO who wants control of coding agents on every developer machine, backed by an ASPM platform; budget for a sales-led purchase.

A filled node means the vendor's own pages describe a control at that point. It does not measure how well the control works.

  • Aikido Security

    Best flat published prices

    5.75 / 10

Simple flat pricing for small teams; not built to govern coding agents.

How to choose

  • If you need control of agents on every developer machine, look at the governance criteria first: discovery, policy and audit, and secrets.
  • If your backlog is the problem, weight triage and remediation.
  • If you are all-in on one ecosystem, check the native option first: GitHub Advanced Security for GitHub, Wiz Code for Wiz Cloud.
  • Ask every vendor for a public page on what its agent controls block, and what happens when a developer turns them off.

Frequently asked questions

Why does a platform without a public pricing page rank first?

Pricing and trial transparency is 10% of the score. The top-ranked platform's only published price is an AWS Marketplace bundle and it has no free tier, so it scores 4 there. It ranks first because of agent governance, triage, SDLC policy and orchestration. If price visibility matters more to you, raise its weight in the agent risk calculator.

Why is agentic remediation weighted at 20%?

Because a fix agent changes what an AppSec team spends its time on. We score what the agent fixes, where the fix lands, whether the vendor says it is validated, and whether it is generally available or in preview.

How often are the scores updated?

When a vendor publishes a change that affects a criterion. This edition uses pages read in September 2026 and updated on 11 October 2026.

Verdict

Legit Security ranks first at 8.80, highest or tied highest on Discovery, Secrets, Remediation, Triage, SDLC policy, Orchestration and Agent reach. Cycode and Endor Labs follow. Legit Security trails on Policy and audit and Pricing, so buyers who weight those criteria should compare the head-to-head pages.
